Tony Lopes - Operations Team Leader, Tony L. Lopes Dairy L.P.
Tony Lopes is a 4th generation Dairy Producer from Gustine, CA, where he works alongside his parents Paul and Darlene Lopes to manage 4,000 cows on multiple sites. Prior to returning to the family dairy, Tony completed corporate internships with Elanco, Dow AgroSciences (now Corteva), and a marketing internship in Seoul, South Korea representing the California Milk Advisory Board. After graduating Cal Poly with a degree in Dairy Science and Agribusiness minor in 2018, Tony took on the role of Operations Team Leader for his family operation, where he’s focused on leveraging data to drive efficiencies, launching a dairy-beef feeder cattle division, and leading their team of employees towards the company’s strategic vision. In addition to his work on the family farm, Tony is the founder of two startups- sustainiBeef LLC, a direct-to-consumer beef subscription company, and Precision Genetic Solutions LLC, which offers genetic management and data consulting to large dairy herds.
