Stefan Scherer - President smaXtec Inc.
Stefan Scherer is a founder, investor and consultant based in Graz, Austria. He holds a Master’s Degree in Physics and a PhD in Computer Science, both from Graz University of Technology. Stefan has successfully founded a high-tech start-up and scaled it from garage level to a global entity with subsidiaries in Germany, UK, USA, Italy, South Korea and China. After the successful sale to a strategic investor based in the US, Stefan invested in other scale-up companies in the tech sector. At smaXtec he initially developed a global roll out and scale up strategy as a consultant. He subsequently invested in shares and took the role as CEO in 2020 for sales and strategy. In this role he again founded global subsidiaries such as in UK and recently in the US.
