Josh Hushon

Josh Hushon - North American Strategic Dairy Marketing Lead, Cargill Animal Nutrition

Josh Hushon is a strategic business leader driven by endless passion for the dairy industry personally and professionally. A Pennsylvania farm native and fifth generation in dairy, Josh is the North American Strategic Dairy Marketing Lead for Cargill Animal Nutrition. In this role, Josh leads a team of strategic marketers responsible for the crafting the North American dairy strategy and portfolio including development and application of new offerings and capabilities that are aligned to the Cargill dairy vision.

Josh and his family own an elite group of Brown Swiss and Ayrshires under the Brothers Three banner. Brothers Three has bred and developed multiple All-American award winners and champions at World Dairy Expo. The Hushons sold the majority of their herd in 2008, but maintain a breeding and showing operation. Josh and his brothers were recognized as the National Outstanding Young Breeders by the Brown Swiss Association in 2009.

A 2003 graduate of Penn State in Agricultural Business Management, Josh’s nearly 20-year career has been centered on dairy marketing and storytelling roles. He has previously worked at Bader Rutter and Filament Marketing on behalf of clients like Zoetis, Land O’Lakes Animal Milk Products, and others. He started his career on the editorial staff at Hoard’s Dairyman. Josh is an active industry volunteer through organizations such as Young Dairy Leaders Institute, World Dairy Expo, Holstein Foundation, National Agri-Marketing Association, and the Brown Swiss Association. He and his wife, Casey, are active in their local church and reside on a small hobby farm in North Prairie, Wis.
