Jason Osterstock

Jason Osterstock - Vice President, Precision Animal Health, Zoetis

Jason Osterstock is Vice President and Head of Precision Animal Health at Zoetis, the world leader in animal health. In this role, he holds responsibility for development and execution of strategies to deliver strategic and financial objectives for these businesses, oversight of all operational aspects of global service delivery, and advising senior management on corporate strategy related to the role of genomic technologies, advanced analytics, and software solutions in advancing productivity, health, and sustainability outcomes in livestock and companion animal species. Jason has spent much of the last 15 years working at the interface of veterinary medicine, genomics, and animal production. He holds degrees in agriculture (BS, ’97) and veterinary medicine (DVM, ’01) from The Ohio State University, and a doctorate in epidemiology from Texas A&M University (PhD, ’07). Over his career in academia and the private sector, he has held clinical, research, technical, operational, and commercial roles, and has worked extensively throughout the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe in the commercialization of genomic technologies. Currently based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Jason spends his time outside of work aspiring to be a better golfer, fisherman, and father.
