Carl Ramsey - Digester Operations Manager, Prairie’s Edge Dairy
Mr. Ramsey started his professional career in fertilizer retail sales and developed a deep knowledge around soil fertility and crop nutrition. This background was a great asset when he joined Prairie’s Edge Dairy almost 20 years ago as an agronomist. When the farm made the strategic decision to invest into sustainable technologies, Ramsey continued to be a key player and helped transform the farm’s operation.
Not only has he been he managing the biogas and gas upgrading operation, he has also been a critical resource in the implementation and successful operation of the farm’s nutrient recovery system; back in 2015 one of the first of its kind in North America.
